Meet the Family

Hello everyone

so like I said, I leave for Houston on the 12th of August.
I already had contact with my host family and my sister from Sweden and they are so sweet and nice and the excitement is really high on both sides! My host mom and host dad are Dawn and Ronald. They have a little girl, Aliana (6). I've included a family picture. According to Dawn, Aliana and I will have a lot in common! That was really nice to hear :). They have send me a picture of their home as well, and I think everything will work out just fine :). I'm really looking forward to meet them and to get settled there :). Only 19 days left and I'm gone!!! It seems like yesterday when I mentioned it for the first time that I wanted to go to the States for a year! I will miss everybody! All my friends, my family, my pets... But I'm really excited to go to Houston and to live there!!!

Hej iedereen

vandaag heb ik vernomen dat ik op 12 augustus 2012 België een jaartje zal inruilen voor de Verenigde Staten. Ik zit op Concordia Lutheran High School in Tomball, Texas en ik heb een zusje van 6, Aliana en een andere gastzus van 16, Jenny uit Zweden. Ik ben mega opgetogen over mijn vertrek! Nu is het tijd om de lijsten te maken met wat mee te nemen voor een jaar... Daar kan ik mij wel nog een maandje mee zoet houden.
